A not-so-fun fact about Jennifer's Body (2009) I always think about is how, during the film's marketing campaign, the studio (Fox Atomic) reportedly suggested that Megan Fox promote the movie by hosting an amateur porn website... Obviously, the director, Karyn Kusama, and the screenwriter, Diablo Cody, rejected the idea.

It's always good to remember who's running these productions and what their intentions are, regardless of the directors' or screenwriters' visions. Trying to sell a movie about the objectification and sexualization of young women by essentially sexually exploiting its leading actress is insane.

I rewatched it during Halloween and oh my god, I'm itching to do a full analysis. But I don't have time right now lol, so this sucky fact will have to do for now.
